Enhance and Preserve Your Music
In addition to letting you burn up to 50 hours of music on DVDs, Creator 9 lets you automatically add title, artist and genre tags to audio tracks — even if your music has been captured from LP, tape, or Internet radio. Converting your music from LPs and tapes into MP3 or WMA format takes three easy steps, and you can even erase those annoying “pops” that old analog recordings are (in)famous for. By giving you the tools to adjust the volume, fade-in/fade-out, and stereo pan from any point in a track, Creator 9 gives you what it takes to make great, personalized audio compilations from just about any music source you can access.

Other features include the ability to create unique sound collages with up to eight layers of audio, or automatically burn hundreds of songs across multiple CDs. Roxio has added new music features to Creator 9. Unlike the previous generation, this version can automatically create perfect mixes from your PC music library. It is also equipped with new audio capture functions, including a desktop capture widget that helps capture streaming Internet radio and music instantaneously, a pre-roll feature that captures any audio playing on your PC without missing a beat, and a mute-all system sound feature so you can capture only the sounds you want without annoying dings from IM or new email notifications.

Edit and Manage Digital Photos
Impress friends and family with gifts, cards, and more, all loaded with personalized features, such as a snapshot from a family vacation or a picture of your child's smiling face on a personalized email-ready birthday invitation. Create a gift calendar with travel photos for your favorite traveling companions, or produce cards from dozens of professionally designed templates for almost any occasion. You can even use Photo Assistants to make impressive panoramas and photo collages with easy-to-set layers, edge fading, and transparency effects. With Roxio, photo editing is simple and easy. Use Creator 9 to crop, rotate, correct brightness and remove red-eye with just one click.

Capture and Manipulate Digital Video
With the newest version of Roxio Easy Media Creator you can capture analog or digital video effortlessly with auto-stop for unattended capture and more extensive capture card support. You can snag HD video from the latest HDV camcorders, and preview and keep only the desired scenes with SmartScan and auto-scene detection. And with Plug and Burn, Creator 9 automatically records all the content off your video camera or VHS tape, straight to DVD — video capture just doesn't get much easier.

Instant Hollywood effects from CineMagic is one of the most impressive video upgrades for the Creator 9. With this feature you can easily filter and select those perfect scenes that must be in your movie. Personalize your movie with new, professionally designed themes that will fit almost any occasion. And you can even create a feature-film look with high-quality intros that will dazzle audiences. If TiVo is your thing, not only does Roxio let you burn your TiVo-recorded shows directly to DVD, you can also remove commercials and unwanted video segments for seamless entertainment. Another new function — Video Doctor — auto-corrects video color, contrast and brightness, and allows you to make manual adjustments to improve video recorded under poor conditions.

Roxio allows you to take control of your production with advanced 32-track timeline tools and the creative freedom to edit virtually everything. And you can even add professional transitions, effects, titles, navigation menus, and Dolby Digital Sound to regular or widescreen (16:9) productions.

Burn, Backup and Copy

You can also use Creator 9 to copy your movies to iPod, PSP, mobile phone or other portable video players. Plus, you can easily copy video CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray discs, make high-quality copies of your DVD movies, copy to double layer discs, convert DivX and WMV files into standard DVDs, and more.
