ChineseCUBES is an entertaining and effective learning program suited for the 21st century. Utilizing new concepts, approaches, and Augmented Reality (AR) technology, ChineseCUBES creates a never-before-seen multi-sensory learning experience.
ChineseCUBES breaks through the limitations of traditional printed teaching materials by implementing a “characters into words” teaching method. As a language learner, you don't need to be intimidated by the thousands of Chinese characters there are to learn in the Chinese language. With ChineseCUBES, you will only need to learn 200 characters to obtain a basic yet strong foundation in the language. ChineseCUBES was designed for beginners of all ages and is especially great for anyone who wants to learn but has no previous background in the language.
At the core of the ChineseCUBES program are the 200 carefully selected Chinese Character Cubes. Each Cube comes marked with each Chinese character's Simplified form, Traditional form, Hanyu Pinyin phonetic spellings, English translation, and an AR marker.
Using AR technology and a webcam, our software can identify the AR markers on the cubes and recognize what characters are being used and in what order. Together, the cubes and the software produce interactive audio and visual content on the computer screen to teach the learner how to SPEAK, TRANSLATE, WRITE, and, most importantly, how to use these Chinese characters.

The Starter Pack comes with 40 Chinese characters in 4 sets, and can produce over 2,500+ commonly used phrases and sentences. Learn to greet people, introduce yourself, ask simple questions, and carry on basic conversation. There are a total of 64 lessons taught in the Starter Pack.
