This Excel spreadsheet was designed with the help of a major nation-wide home care firm to schedule caregivers at each of its franchises to multiple client visits each day. You simply list your clients and the days and times they need to be visited along with your caregivers and their daily availability. You also specify which caregivers are qualified to care for each client. Caregivers are assigned to daily client visits from drop-down menus of qualified caregivers and once someone is assigned to a client visit, he or she will not appear on the drop-down menus for overlapping assignments thereby preventing any assignment overlap. The program also assures that you assign caregivers to all of your clients each day avoiding missed client visits. Daily staffing charts show at-a-glance, the times each caregiver is busy throughout the day.
