Description

SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 7 for IA-32 is designed for the special requirements of business-oriented server operation. This stable platform is especially suitable for e-mail, Internet, and application services; ERP systems; and the implementation of file and print services in networks. It features support of various hardware architectures and high failsafety making it suitable for consolidating complex server structures–from department and Internet or intranet servers to application servers for required applications.

SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 7 for IA-32 also features a real multiuser, multitasking operating system, easy graphical installation, automatic hardware detection, and more than 400 application packages for server and business applications. The graphical administration and installation tool, YaST2, allows partitioning by hand or automatically, LVM configuration, examination of boot and log files, and server administration, including user administration and other server services.
